Thabo Mbeki Led Commonwealth Observer Team Visit Atiku

As part of efforts to ensure that saturdays Presidential election in Nigeria reflects the wishes of Nigerians, the Commonwealth Election Observers led by former South African president Thabo Mbeki has arrived Nigeria and paid a visit to H.E Atiku Abubakar in Abuja.

Atiku Abubakar Nigeria’s former vice President from 1999-2007 is widely expected to win Saturdays election despite the activities of the G5 group of Governors within his party.

In a tweet released moments ago, Atiku wrote:

I just finished a meeting with the Commonwealth Observer Group to Nigeria, led by His Excellency Thabo Mbeki, former President of South Africa. We had rich diplomatic conversations, and it was a good opportunity to keep up with President Mbeki. -AA
